QUIKDECK®
For fast, effective, and safe access to those particularly difficult-to-reach areas, such as the underside of bridges or offshore vessels, SGB-Cape is the sole supplier of Quikdeck® in Africa. It can be built on the ground and hoisted into position or, using our IRATA® accredited rope access team, can be built with skill in the air. With our Waco Engineering Services, we can detail and calculate the clamp connections safely for the client’s peace of mind.
FIRE PROOFING
When a mixture of flammable liquids, potential ignition sources from industrial plants, and exposed steel come together, SGB-Cape can protect the lifesaving properties of the structure with the application of intumescent or cementitious fireproofing coatings. SGB-Cape is certified and trained by the manufacturers of these highly specialist products, and with our fleet of application equipment, we can be trusted to deliver in this mission-critical service.
THERMAL INSULATION AND CLADDING

OFFSHORE MAINTENANCE
SGB-Cape can meet all your fabric maintenance and access solution needs offshore. We have highly skilled multi-disciplinary crews in rigging / cranes, deck foremen, blasters, painters and foremen. We also specialise in UHP / Tank Cleaning, NDT, and hot and cold insulation workshops on your Platform, FPSO, Semi-Subs and Drill Ships.
NDT: NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
Testing of materials, components, structures or systems without causing damage. Our NDT methods include Ultrasonic testing, Magnetic Particle testing, Liquid Penetrant testing (PT), Eddy Current testing, and Pulse Eddy Current (PEC). All NDT inspections can be combined with Rope Access, Scaffolding, or Hydraulic lifts for inspections in hard-to-reach places.
