Access solutions

IRATA rope access and scaffolding for safe work at height.
IRATA rope access
Our rope teams work to the IRATA International system across its three technician levels, always under a Level 3 supervisor on site. Every technician is on two ropes: one carries the load, the second is a fully independent back-up. None of that is negotiable, on any job, at any height.
Scaffolding, when scaffolding is the right answer
Rope access is not automatically the better tool. Long-duration work, several trades sharing one work front, heavy material handling — that is scaffolding, and we will say so. We design, erect, inspect and dismantle scaffold to the standard the work actually requires.
Restraint and fall arrest are not the same control
Restraint stops a technician reaching the edge. Arrest catches them once a fall has already started. Choosing correctly between the two, and anchoring both to certified points, is the difference between a controlled work front and an incident report.
Access is rarely the whole scope. Our rope and scaffold crews carry the coatings, inspection and fabric maintenance trades with them, so the same team that reaches the work also does the work.
